Building for Generations , Inspired by faith
Since July 17, 1950, Camp Quaker Haven has been a place to pause, breathe, and reconnect. Here, students and adults step away from life’s distractions, embrace new experiences, and discover what it means to live in community and grow closer to Christ. For many, its been more than a camp-its been a Soul-Saving Station, a Sacred Space where hearts are changed and the Holy Spirit is encountered for the first time.
Since the beginning there has been a vision for Camp Quaker Haven to be a ministry that can serve year round and have little limitation on the amount of people who can be served. Today we welcome an average about 1,900 guests each year, most within just 4.5 months out of the year. We are finding that many of these groups are now reaching-and even surpassing-our current facilities capacity.
This has created direct need that aligns with a lifelong vision for Camp. To meet this need, we must grow. IF we don’t, we will either have to limit registrations for students looking for a life changing experience here at camp, or face the fact that we will start losing guests as we would no longer be able to host their size of group.
With the need to expand and the prayerful calling to follow vision and guidance of our Lord, we plan to build. A Retreat Center.
Why a Retreat Center?
Many of our groups have exceeded the 200 persons mark, our current chapel capacity is 215.
We are looking for a facility to allow us to comfortably host groups year round.
There is also a need for a climate controlled multi-purpose space to allow more “whole camp activities” regardless of weather or group size.
How will it serve us?
This would allow a Chapel/Multi-use space capable of hosting over 350 people.
With a sanctuary, full kitchen, meeting/conference rooms, and lodging upstairs, it could host an entire retreat/reunion within itself.
This would allow us to host groups year round, and also would allow us to expand our ministry options by being able to host two groups at once.

Camp Quaker Haven would not exist today if it were not for the many generous people that have Prayed, Served, or Given financially to our mission in the past 75 years. Because of this we believe that our Lord is more than capable of helping us raise the needed funds for this vision/need. However in order to reach our goal, its going to take a small part from everyone that has a heart for Camp Quaker Haven and our mission to expand the Kingdom of Heaven through camping ministry.

Cost
Estimated cost for this project is $1.75 Million.
Construction will not begin until we are 60% funded (about $1 million).
We hope to reach this fundraising goal by Fall of 2027.
We will be accepting recurring monthly gifts, individual financial gifts, and yearly pledges to help fund this project.
Where will it be located?
Building will be located between Mini Golf and our upper RV campsite
N side of building will face the Arkansas River with a “Lookout View” from the outdoor deck upstairs.
